Date:1/23/2013

San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) January 23, 2013

The Northeast Field Hockey Clinic sets the standard for excellence in field hockey training and education. Founded by Doug Wood, Jr. in 1974, NEFHC offers an outstanding clinic experience featuring morning individual skill and stick work sessions, small sided afternoon games stressing tactical game situations and evening competition.

The legacy of Founder Doug Wood will continue to grow with the professional marketing/registration expertise of US Sports. “For the past 37 years I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of The Northeast Field Hockey Clinics. My highlight has been the association with the athletes and the outstanding coaches. NEFHC’s merger with USSC can only enhance the future of summer field hockey camps at the Governor’s Academy. “

The clinic will be best served going forward by joining ranks with US Sports.

Thousands of players have attended over the years to train at the beautiful prep school, Governor’s Academy in Byfield, MA. The clinic utilizes two outdoor artificial turf fields, eight regulation grass field hockey fields and four indoor ½ field synthetic surfaces.

The NEFHC hosts one session each summer, over 150 players attend each summer. The instruction is serious and the training is right for this time of the summer. NEFHC offers training for the Advanced, Intermediate and Beginner.

With the support of this strong partner, the long term health and survivability of the Northeast Field Hockey Clinic will be virtually guaranteed.
