US Oncology Named to InformationWeek 500 as Top User of Business Technology

HOUSTON, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- US Oncology, Inc. the innovative healthcare company supporting the nation's foremost cancer treatment and research network, today announced that it has been named to the 2009 InformationWeek 500, an annual listing of the nation's most innovative users of business technology. US Oncology was recognized for the establishment of an enterprise-wide CRM platform.

Working with Deloitte Consulting, US Oncology developed PatientRM as a cost effective technology-based solution utilizing a single Siebel-based platform. The software serves four unique patient-centric businesses: AccessMED(TM), Innovent Oncology, OncologyRx Care Advantage(TM) and Oncology Reimbursement Solutions, and has the capability of collecting, managing and analyzing data on hundreds of thousands of similar and dissimilar patient cases from across the country. The program is also useful in ensuring quality and effective cancer care management throughout the course of a patient's treatment.
