US Drug Watchdog Now Warns Recipients Of A Recalled DePuy ASR Hip Implant About Statute Of Limitations Deadline To Get Identified And Urges Recipients To Call Them

The US Drug Watchdog says, "It is vital we do everything possible to get all recalled DePuy ASR recipients identified in the states where the statute of limitations has not yet run out, because there could be hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensation on the line for these recipients, with the caveat the procedure to install this specific device had to have occurred in the remaining states, where the statute of limitations has not yet run." According to court records the statute of limitations on the recalled DePuy ASR metal on metal hip implant has not yet run out in the following states: Arkansas, Washington D.C., Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. The US Drug Watchdog says, "If you are a recipient of a recalled DePuy ASR, and you have not yet been identified by the court handling this litigation we are urging you to call us immediately at 866-714-6466, if the procedure was done in one of these states."
