US Drug Watchdog Now Urges Recipients Of The Recalled DePuy ASR Hip Implant To Call Them About A Just Announced Settlement If They Are Not Yet Represented By Counsel
Date:11/18/2013

(PRWEB) November 18, 2013

The US Drug Watchdog is now urging recipients of the recalled DePuy ASR metal on metal hip implant to call them immediately if they have not yet been identified by the federal court handling this litigation, and/or if they are a recipient of this recalled all metal hip implant device, and they are not yet represented by counsel. On November 12th, 2013 a settlement was announced of $300,000 per recipient for this specific type of recalled hip implant device. For more information recipients of the recalled DePuy ASR metal on metal hip implant device are urged to contact the US Drug Watchdog at 866-714-6466.

The US Drug Watchdog says, "On November 12th, 2013 a settlement was announced related to the recalled DePuy ASR metal on metal hip implant. What has us concerned is according to court records there are 30,000 US recipients of this specific type of all metal hip implant, and according to the November 12th news release related to the settlement only 7500 US recipients of this artificial hip have been identified by the court handling this litigation. That leaves behind over 20,000 US citizens, who are recipients of the recalled DePuy ASR who have not yet been identified by the federal court handling this litigation. Twenty thousand US citizens is enough people to fill to capacity the famed Madison Square Gardens in New York, or the famed Stapples Center in Los Angeles, California. We are going dramatically ramp up our efforts to make certain all recipients of the recalled DePuy ASR are aware of this settlement. There was little to no news coverage of this settlement announcement." For more information recipients of the recalled DePuy ASR all metal hip implant are urged to contact the US Drug Watchdog at 866-714-6466. http:/
