Date:1/30/2013

(PRWEB) January 30, 2013

The US Drug Watchdog says, "On January 17th 2013 the US FDA released a statement suggesting elevated levels of cobalt, or chromium could be causing tissue damage in some of the 500,000 US citizens who have a metal on metal hip implant. For over two years we have been focused on the DePuy Pinnacle metal on metal hip implant. This specific hip implant device makes up over one quarter of all US recipients of a metal on metal hip implant, and we are now urging all recipients of a metal on metal hip implant up to including the DePuy Pinnacle to get a blood test that is focused on elevated levels of cobalt, and chromium in their blood. If the cobalt, or chromium levels are elevated we are urging the recipient to call us, so we can provide them with the names of the best possible national caliber attorneys, and we are urging them to talk to a new orthopedic surgeon about hip, implant replacement surgery, also called revision surgery." According to court records there approximately 140,000 US citizens, who received the DePuy Pinnacle metal-on-metal hip implant between 2002 and 2010, and the US Drug Watchdog's goal is getting every DePuy Pinnacle hip implant recipient with a failed device identified via a blood test for elevated levels of cobalt, and chromium in their blood. For more information about the DePuy Pinnacle hip implant please call the US Drug Watchdog at 866-714-6466, or contact the group via its web site at http://USDrugWatchdog.com

The US Drug Watchdog says, "It really was great of the US FDA to step up to the plate on January 17th 2013, and suggest elevated levels of cobalt, and or chromium could be causing tissue damage for some of the 500,000 US citizens, who are recipients of a metal on metal hip implant. At what point will the US FDA get around to kidney, or liver damage associated with elevated levels of cobalt, or chromium in a all metal hip implant recipient's body? http://USDrugWatchdog.Com
