US Drug Watchdog Now Urges All DePuy ASR and Pinnacle Hip Implant Recipients to Get a Blood Test for Metals Levels and to Call Them for the Names of the Best Law Firms

The US Drug Watchdog says, "We believe the easiest way for a recipient of a DePuy ASR, or a DePuy Pinnacle metal on metal hip implant to see if their hip implant has failed is to get a simple blood test for elevated levels of cobalt, or chromium in the blood stream. If elevated levels of cobalt, or chromium are discovered we want the hip implant recipient to call us as soon as possible, so we can provide them with the names, and contacts of law firms that are working on this litigation. Our biggest worry with the recipients of the recalled DePuy ASR hip implant, and or the recipients of the DePuy Pinnacle hip implant is not enough people have been identified by the federal courts handling these specific cases. Between the recalled DePuy ASR, and the DePuy Pinnacle we have about 180,000 US recipients." The DePuy ASR was recalled in August of 2010 because of a very high failure rate, and the DePuy Pinnacle is now the subject of a national class action because of failure rate issues. The US Drug Watchdog says, "If you, or a loved one has had a hip replacement involving the recalled DePuy ASR, or a DePuy Pinnacle hip implant, please call us immediately at 866-714-6466, before time runs out to get compensated." http://USDrugWatchdog.com

Update from the US Drug Watchdog: According to the Los Angels Times on January 25th 2013, "J&J faced 10,100 ASR hip implant lawsuits through September, according to a regulatory filing. Most pretrial collection of evidence is consolidated in federal court in Toledo, Ohio, where 7,240 cases are pending; and California state court in San Francisco, where more than 2,000 cases are filed.
