URAC Brings Together Leaders in Health Care Management

u> to honor those health care professionals who directly impact the lives of consumers they serve. URAC solicited nominations for exceptional people who have shown fortitude and leadership and constantly risen above their daily duties to improve people's lives by protecting and empowering consumers in their health care choices and services.

"Those who choose to work in health care and have a rare dedication to improving the lives of others deserve this recognition for the great work they're doing to protect and empower health care consumers," said John DuMoulin, Vice President of Product Development, Government Relations and Education for URAC . "Even as health care in this country faces major reforms, URAC wants to recognize those who show an exceptional commitment to what will remain the most important aspect of any health care policy -- providing quality care to consumers."

Approximately 400 key decision makers are expected to attend the Summit this year. This includes executive leadership, medical directors, professionals in utilization, case and disease management, health information and decision support specialists, consultants, and compliance and regulatory staff from organizations in the health care community including health plans, health management companies and pharmacy management companies.
