  • Susan G. Komen for the Cure®--the global leader of the grassroots breast cancer movement. The organization will link to BreastCancerTrials.org and collaborate on various awareness initiatives.

    • The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation's Army of Women initiative launched in October 2008, thanks to a grant from the Avon Foundation for women. The organization is working to recruit one million women of every age and ethnicity, with or without breast cancer, to sign up and take part in basic research studies looking into the cause and prevention of breast cancer.

    By associating with organizations such as these, UCSF and BreastCancerTrials.org hope to transform the way clinical trials are perceived and accelerate the pace of new discoveries and treatments that will save lives for generations to come.
