Watson will identify new commercial development partnerships and market opportunities to expand TyraTech's traction in the international institutional, agricultural, consumer, and animal and public health markets. In the newly created position, Watson will report to Stephen Briggs, Vice President Global Markets.

"TyraTech's growing line of active ingredient components for extremely effective products for the entire invertebrate pest control spectrum has positioned our company for numerous commercial opportunities. In order to capitalize on the breadth and strength of our proprietary technology, we are currently pursuing an aggressive growth strategy of major industry partnerships and licensing," said R. Douglas Armstrong, Ph.D., CEO of TyraTech. "An invaluable addition to our team, Watson brings specific experience in realizing both new market opportunities as well as paths to market through industry collaboration and partnership."

Watson is an active member in industry associations, including the Licensing Executives Society, and holds 18 technology patents of his own.

Steve Briggs added, "Our Company has seen a material increase in commercial and development capability with these key hires, which is complementing our already strong research and technology development resources." The addition of Mr. Watson complements other recent commercial market team additions at TyraTech which have included Dr. Peter Porpiglia, joining TyraTech from Kumiai Chemical as Sr. Director Product Development, and William Baxter, who moved from BASF as Sr. Director Market Development.
