Twitter Contest: Free, Onsite H1N1 Vaccination Day for Winning Businesses
Date:1/27/2010

Follow @USHealthWorks, tell us why your company should win.

Valencia, CA (Vocus) Jan. 27, 2010 -- U.S. HealthWorks Medical Group, a leading nationwide operator of on-the-job-injury health and urgent care centers, today announced a social media contest for businesses who want to offer an added employee benefit by getting workers vaccinated against H1N1.

“U.S. HealthWorks wants to send our staff to a local business to set up an onsite H1N1 vaccination day and give up to 50 of your employees the H1N1 flu shot…all for free,” said Diane Yu, vice president of sales & marketing for U.S. HealthWorks. “All people have to do to enter this contest is tell us why their businesses should win, follow us on Twitter and Re-Tweet the contest to their followers.”

“Maybe you’re in public safety and employees are exposed to lots of people who could have the virus, but budget cuts prohibit your agency from inoculating workers,” Diane Yu continued. “Or maybe you have a retail business and see a lot of foot traffic with potential infected carriers, but just haven’t had the time to schedule employees to get their shots.”

In order to enter, you must tell us why your workplace should win our Free H1N1 Flu Vaccination Contest, follow us on Twitter at @USHealthWorks, and Re-Tweet our contest at least once before the giveaway ends Feb. 8. Businesses within 20 miles of any of our medical centers that have available vaccine are eligible to win the onsite vaccination clinic. U.S. HealthWorks has centers in the following states: California, Washington, Arizona, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Indiana, Maine, North Carolina and Alaska. A list of exact locations can be found here.

U.S. HealthWorks also has tips on preparedness and prevention for individuals and employers. And in addition to H1N1 flu shots, also provides workplace healthcare and urgent care services such as sports physicals, testing for ailments like allergies and asthma, and health screenings.
