Twinlab Launches New Omega-3 Powder in Single-Serving Stick Packs for Busy Parents and Their Kids
Date:3/12/2010

The new Twinlab® Marine Friends™ Children’s Omega-3 Powder helps support normal brain, eye and heart health.*

(Vocus) March 12, 2010 -- Twinlab Corporation introduced their newest supplement for children and adults today at Natural Products Expo West 2010, a light tasting Omega-3 powder for blending into everyday foods and drinks. Each stick contains 127 mg Omega-3s per serving; derived from molecularly distilled fish oil so as to provide both DHA and EPA forms of this important nutrient. The powder contains no added artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or sweeteners.

“I believe there are few nutrients more important to your health, yet deficient in many diets, than Omega-3s, particularly during pregnancy and childhood when the brain and eyes are developing the fastest,” remarked Greg Grochoski, Chief Science Officer, Twinlab Corporation.* “The challenge for parents is often how to get their kids enough. For many, pills and candy aren’t good options, so we’ve developed a product that is both easy to integrate into their child’s existing diet and delivers enough Omegas to make a real impact.”

The new powder will be packaged and sold in boxes containing 30 mom-friendly single-serve stick packs and is recommended for adults and children over the age of one. Product will be available to ship to retailers by the end of the month.
