Tulsa, OK Dentist, Dr. Randy McCormick Is Now Offering IV Sedation As A Sedation Dentistry Option For Patients With Dental Anxiety
Date:5/7/2013

Tulsa, OK (PRWEB) May 07, 2013

Dr. Randy McCormick has expanded his sedation dentistry options to include IV sedation. Now patients can experience dental procedures in a comfortable, relaxed state. Dr. McCormick received advanced training from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and now has special emphasis in IV sedation so he can safely monitor patients during the procedure.

Depending on the patient’s level of anxiety, Dr. McCormick may utilize sedation dentistry for a range of procedures. From basic things like a cleaning to major procedures, Dr. McCormick has options to fit every patient’s needs.

With IV sedation, Dr. McCormick can now sedate patients in such a way that they will have little memory of their procedure and will usually remain conscious. Some patients may prefer oral sedation over IV. In this case, the patient takes medication prior to their procedure and is slightly sedated afterward as well. With either option a driver is required for the ride home.

If dental experiences cause anxiety for you, call Dr. McCormick today to learn more about sedation dentistry options.
