Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) January 14, 2013

January 14, 2013 – Trustifi Corporation Patent Application #12/562,094 was issued by the USPTO on December 25, 2012 as Patent #8,341,023 assigned to Trustifi Corporation. In a further development, Patent Application #12/486,721 was issued a notice of allowance on December 10, 2012.

Trustifi Postmarked Email® is a service that digitally signs email with an electronic time stamp securely synchronized with the atomic clock at the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST), an agency of the United States Department of Commerce. Trustifi provides legal proof of sending, by means of a time-stamped record that an email, containing specific content and attachments, was transmitted to specific email addresses at a specific date and time.

“We are very pleased to see that our patents are now issuing,” said Peter Benisti, President & Chief Executive Officer of Trustifi. “The patent that just issued covers system architecture maximizing the flexibility and range of options we can offer our corporate mailer customers for their critical customer communications.”

Trustifi’s patents and patent-pending portfolio cover the features and functionality of the newly released Trustifi Postmarked Email services. To respond to the needs of businesses that are becoming more and more dependent on electronic communications, Trustifi offers a better class of email that can provide proof of sending, comprehensive reporting, search, encryption, and archiving.

"Newly allowed Patent Application #12/486,721 covers the postmarking basics of Trustifi’s solution for corporate mailers sending large volumes of postmarked email at once,” said Philip A. Kantor - Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Trustifi. “This includes the direct sending of emails from corporate mailers to their customers that are associated with an email copy that has been time-stamped using Trustifi’s secure clock for convenient authentication and verification.”

“Patents are an important corporate asset for technology companies and their clients. Trustifi can now assure its current and future clients that they will experience distinct advantages over competitors using other systems,” said Victor M.G. Chaltiel, Chairman of the Board of Trustifi. “Additionally, they may be assured they are using a postmarking system that the Patent Office has identified as novel over existing postmarking systems.”
