Locally, he is a member of the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology, the Chicago Ophthalmological Society, the Chicago Medical Society, the Illinois State Medical Society, and the Chicago Cornea Association. Nowhere is Dr. Epstein's dedication to advancing eye care more evident than in his commitment and service to local and national charities like the National Keratoconus Foundation, EyeCare America, the Chicago Lighthouse for People Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired, and the Illinois Eye Bank where he serves on the advisory board in addition to volunteering.
