Triveris Introduces Personal Health Record with Built-in Health Advisor

EATONTOWN, N.J., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Triveris, Inc., a healthcare technology and services provider, has developed an on-line personal health record with a built-in personal health advisor. Health Insight Now(TM) automatically captures the user's lab results, health history, pharmacy records, and claims data; identifies potential health risks based on this information; and recommends appropriate actions for staying healthy.

"Unlike conventional personal health records, which only store data manually entered by an individual, Health Insight Now does the work for them by capturing this information from a variety of data sources," Says Dr. Stephen Kardos, CEO of Triveris. "In addition, this is a 'smart' PHR, which advises users on important actions based on their personal health information."

Users access their confidential Health Insight Now account through a password protected, HIPAA compliant web portal. After logging in, users are presented with a comprehensive one page summary about key things they need to know about their current state of health. This includes medical risks, current health status, health actions, recommended preventive management actions (e.g. past due or upcoming health screenings, prescription refills, etc.), and links to explain test results and medical conditions. Health Insight Now(TM) makes recommendations by comparing an individual's health care with nationally accepted source guidelines for care. These sources include the American Cancer Society, The American Heart Association, The American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Center for Disease Control among others.
