TriZetto Maintains Prestigious Verizon Business Security Certification for Sixth Consecutive Year
Date:6/18/2008

ess, TriZetto is communicating to its customers that the company is making information security a top priority, which is especially critical in the health care space," said Kerry Bailey, vice president of Verizon Business Security Solutions. "As the threat landscape evolves, organizations with critical data needs such as TriZetto must proactively address security requirements to protect the confidential data of their customers.

"At Verizon Business, we are committed to helping our customers develop and implement the security strategy that best meets their business needs and enables them to leverage existing people, processes and technologies," Bailey said.

Through Verizon Business' Security Management Program, TriZetto has enhanced security for its systems, networks and physical environment. The Cybertrust Certification demonstrates TriZetto's commitment to ongoing and consistent security assessments of the company's communications infrastructure as well as its external perimeter. This enables TriZetto to more effectively identify and prioritize security risks and then mitigate those risks. Potential risks include electronic threats and vulnerabilities, malicious code, privacy issues, human factors, physical environment and downtime.

"Our customers turn to us to host their software, in part because we are able to provide them peace of mind that their confidential data is better protected against even sophisticated attacks," said Gary Starling, TriZetto's chief security officer. "The Cybertrust Enterprise Certification provides a detailed assessment of our current security posture, which helps us identify potential vulnerabilities, strengthen controls and improve information protection."
