TriWest Earns URAC Health Network Reaccreditation

PHOENIX, April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- URAC has awarded TriWest Healthcare Alliance in Phoenix Health Network reaccreditation for compliance with URAC's high standards. TriWest administers the military's health care plan, TRICARE, for 2.9 million beneficiaries in 21 western states.

URAC examined TriWest's provider services, clinical quality management, contract administration, security, information technology, marketing, human resources, contact center, training, legal and data management departments.

"URAC accreditation is an important measure of our commitment to the people we serve. By achieving this reaccreditation, TRICARE beneficiaries have further confirmation that they are receiving services from a high quality network of providers who meet all the requirements for credentialing and oversight," said TriWest President and CEO David J.
