TravelMax and Reflectx Awarded The Joint Commission - Gold Seal of Approval(TM)
Date:10/20/2009

LAKE MARY, Fla., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- TravelMax and Reflectx Services national healthcare staffing companies have achieved the Gold Seal of Approval(TM) for healthcare staffing services. Both companies underwent on-site reviews of their compliance programs, meeting national standards that address how staffing firms determine the qualifications and competency of their staff.

"Healthcare organizations that contract with TravelMax and Reflectx can look to this certification as an assurance that both companies demonstrate a commitment to providing and continuously improving quality services," says Michele Sacco, M.S., executive director, Health Care Staffing Services Certification, Joint Commission.

The ongoing shortages of rehabilitation therapists, registered nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals have forced healthcare organizations to increasingly fill positions with temporary workers through contractual arrangements with staffing firms like TravelMax and Reflectx. The Joint Commission's certification program, launched in October 2004, offers an independent evaluation of a staffing firm's abilities to provide competent staffing services.

"Certification recognizes our dedication to providing physical and occupational therapists, nurses, pharmacists, and other allied professionals that are qualified to provide safe, high-quality care to patients," says Daryl Dixon, Division President. "We are proud to receive The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval(TM). We recognize and value that The Joint Commission sets standards that are not only good for patient, but also good for business."
