Transvaginal Mesh Lawsuits Progressing in Federal Courts, Rottenstein Law Group LLP Reports

Vaginal mesh lawsuits in federal courts are moving along, according to court documents for the federal multidistrict litigations in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia (MDL Nos. 2187, 2325, 2326, 2327 and 2387). The Rottenstein Law Group LLP notes that the next status conference for these MDLs is Aug. 1. The several thousand nationwide lawsuits concern the serious alleged side effects associated with transvaginal mesh, including bleeding, infection, pain, and blood vessel, bladder, or bowel perforation. The companies involved include C.R. Bard, American Medical Systems, Boston Scientific, Ethicon, and Coloplast, according to court documents.
