Transvaginal Mesh Lawsuit News: Bernstein Liebhard LLP Notes Issuance of New Orders in Federal Transvaginal Mesh Litigations

More than 30,000 transvaginal mesh lawsuit (http://www.transvaginalmeshlawsuitclaims.com/) filings continue to move forward in federal multidistrict litigations now underway in U.S. District Court, Southern District of West Virginia, Bernstein Liebhard LLP reports. According to Orders issued by the Court on November 14, 2013, a revised Short Form Complaint and Amended Short Form Complaint have been approved for all proceedings, including those naming American Medical Systems, Inc. (MDL No. 2325), Boston Scientific Corp., (MDL No. 2326); C.R. Bard, Inc. (MDL No. 2187) and Ethicon, Inc. (MDL No. 2327) as defendants.

“We are representing hundreds of women in this litigation who allegedly suffered serious vaginal mesh complications due to products manufactured by these defendants, and continue to receive inquiries from other mesh recipients on a regular basis. We are pleased to see these cases moving forward,” says Bernstein Liebhard LLP, a nationwide law firm representing victims of defective drugs and medical devices. The Firm is currently representing hundreds of women in transvaginal mesh lawsuits who allegedly suffered mesh erosion, pain, scarring, infection and other serious injuries following treatment with pelvic mesh devices. Bernstein Liebhard LLP partner, Jeffrey S. Grand, is serving on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committees in the federal multidistrict litigations involving American Medical Systems, Boston Scientific, C.R. Bard, and Ethicon.
