Date:11/7/2013

New York, New York (PRWEB) November 07, 2013

As thousands of transvaginal mesh lawsuit (http://www.transvaginalmeshlawsuithelp.com/) claims continue to move forward in courts throughout the country, Bernstein Liebhard LLP notes that new Pretrial Orders have been issued in the federal litigations underway in U.S. District Court, Southern District of West Virginia, for claims filed against Ethicon, Inc. and American Medical Systems, Inc. that provide for the severance of several actions in the proceedings. The Orders, which are dated November 5th and 6th respectively, pertain to procedures for filing certain individual transvaginal mesh lawsuits in the multidistrict litigations. (In Re: American Medical Systems, Inc., Pelvic Repair Systems Products Liability Litigation - MDL No. 2325; In re: Ethicon, Inc., Pelvic Repair Systems Products Liability Litigation - MDL No. 2327)

“Our Firm is representing hundreds of women who suffered serious vaginal mesh complications, allegedly due to pelvic mesh products manufactured by American Medical Systems, Ethicon, and others. Many of our clients have had experiences that echo allegations put forth in these claims,” says Bernstein Liebhard LLP, a nationwide law firm representing victims of defective drugs and medical devices. Firm partner, Jeffrey S. Grand, is serving on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in both the American Medical Systems and Ethicon litigations underway in West Virginia federal court. The firm’s transvaginal mesh lawyers continue to offer free legal evaluations to women who suffered mesh erosion, chronic pain, infections, scarring, and other serious complications, allegedly due to transvaginal mesh used in the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence.
