Interaction Associates (IA) - a 40-year consultancy with a focus on collaboration - has released a case study about how its innovative HR transformation process helped the world's largest manufacturer of medical devices shift its HR function into a more strategic role, including developing HR leaders.

Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) June 23, 2009 -- Interaction Associates (IA) - a 40-year consultancy with a focus on collaboration - is out with specifics about how its innovative HR transformation process helped the world's largest manufacturer of medical devices shift its HR function into a more strategic role, including developing HR leaders.

"Using our Collaborative Change Management Framework, the HR organization was able to transform itself from a transactional cost center to a highly effective strategic business partner," said Linda Dunkel, President and CEO of Interaction Associates and a senior consultant who participated in the HR transformation effort. "At the same time, our innovative, thorough and inclusive change process helped this client realize the cost savings promised by outsourcing many of HR's transactional activities," added Dunkel.

The client has requested confidentiality and so is unnamed in a new IA case study that details this work. Additionally, the case study shows how this client worked with Interaction Associates to outperform the desired cost savings laid out in the business case for the change initiative.
