Training Magazine Ranks C&A Industries in Top 10 Companies Globally for Training Programs

Staffing and recruitment leader C&A Industries, LLC has once again been recognized for excellence in employee learning by Training magazine, the leading business publication for human resources and employee development professionals. The Omaha-based company has joined the elite top 10 with a #9 ranking in the publication’s annual Training Top 125, which identifies organizations with the most successful employer sponsored training and development programs globally.

Rankings of the 125 leading companies were announced Feb. 24, 2020 during the Training 2020 Conference & Expo in Orlando, Fl. This is the second year C&A has been included in the Training Top 125. The company ranked #86 in 2019.

C&A is the parent company to a portfolio of firms, including Aureus Group®, Aureus Medical Group®, AurStaff®, Celebrity Staff, and FocusOne Solutions®, as well as non-staffing affiliates AurTravel® and AurHomes®. C&A employs over 700 in its corporate and regional offices.

In Oct. 2019, C&A was acquired by healthcare staffing leader Medical Solutions. The deal represented the largest acquisition of a healthcare staffing company in the industry’s history. Medical Solutions is also headquartered in Omaha.

“At C&A, we strive to provide an environment that inspires our employees to become who they want to be as people, at work and at home,” said Craig Meier, CEO, Medical Solutions. “The culture of learning that’s alive within our workplace is meaningful, impactful, and embraces employees at all levels and in all roles. And when we put people first, success follows.”

The Training Top 125 ranking is based on an assessment of benchmarking statistics, the broad nature of educational programming, and the relationship of training and development offerings, employer goals and objectives, and overarching results.

“To be ranked in the top 10 globally for employee learning and development is an incredible achievement,” added Meier. “We look forward to continuing to build on this program as our companies come together, with heart and soul, as one."

C&A offers a full range of curricula for employees across its organization, from entry and staff level to management and C-suite. It's programs include extensive and accredited new hire sales training, professional development courses, leadership and management preparation, and customized education developed and delivered by its dedicated in-house training team. C&A also incorporates leading concepts, modules, and industry experts in its education offerings.

Prior to its acquisition by Medical Solutions, C&A ranked as the 34th largest staffing firm in the U.S. for 2019. C&A has been named among the Best Places to Work in Omaha in the large company category eight times and received the initiative’s Sustained Excellence Award in 2019.
