LOS ANGELES, April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Aviva Family and Children's Services, a nonprofit, non-sectarian, multi-service agency that provides care and treatment to abandoned, neglected, abused and at-risk youth in Los Angeles, presents The A Party, April 28, 2009 at The SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills. Honorees to be recognized with Aviva Impact Awards include actress Tracee Ellis Ross, The UXB(R) CEO, NancyJane Goldston and Johnson Martin Advisors principal Vicki Martin. Chaired by Board Vice-Chair Susan Casden, the event will feature a magical dining experience at The Bazaar Restaurant by Jose Andres.

The Impact Awards honor those who have generously shared their experience and expertise with young people who look to them as role models and mentors on their journey to positive, productive, and rewarding futures.

Award-winning actress, model and producer Tracee Ellis Ross is best known as the star of the hit sitcom "Girlfriends" that ran for eight seasons on The CW Network. It can still be seen in syndication throughout the US and the world. Ross was honored by The Los Angeles Urban League as "Volunteer of the Year" for 2004.

Long-time Aviva supporter and Board Member NancyJane Goldston is founder and CEO of The UXB(R), an award-winning, world-class, advertising, branding and interactive agency. She brings over two decades of marketing, branding and strategy insights to clients ranging from multi-billion dollar corporations, to businesses that are fledgling and privately held.

Entrepreneur and philanthropist Vicki Martin and her husband, Preston L.C. Johnson founded the investment management firm of Johnson Martin Advisors, Inc. Her appreciation and understanding of how the corporate community can use its resources to assist those in need led her to found a highly successful support group for Big Sisters of Los Angeles.
