Touchstone Health Responds to Economic Slowdown With Cost Savings and Added Benefits on 2009 Plans

NEW YORK, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Touchstone Health HMO, Inc. announced today that beneficiaries of its Medicare Advantage & Prescription Drug (MA- PD) plans in New York will have a much wider range of benefits and significant cost savings available to them in 2009. When the Annual Election Period begins on November 15, 2008, Medicare beneficiaries will be able to take advantage of Touchstone Health's money saving plans, designed for consumers who are currently dealing with higher living costs. Touchstone Health plans are offered in the Bronx, Kings, Queens, Richmond, Orange, Westchester, Broome, Chenango, Delaware & Onondaga counties.

Highlights of the 2009 Touchstone Health MA-PD plan offerings include:

Cost savings through zero-dollar premium plans. Touchstone Health offers Medicare Advantage plans with $0 monthly health plan premium, beyond the Medicare Part B premium.

Cost savings through zero-dollar copayments. Touchstone Health offers Medicare Advantage plans with $0 copayment for primary care doctor visit, hospital visit, and outpatient surgery.

Coverage for preventive care at no out-of-pocket cost to beneficiaries. All of Touchstone Health's Medicare Advantage plans in New York provide full coverage for most preventive care in-network services, such as annual physical exams, eye exams, prostate screenings, Pap smears and mammograms.

Cost savings through zero-dollar generic prescription drug copayments. All of Touchstone Health's Medicare Advantage plans
