Total Voice Technologies Announces Availability of Dragon Dictate Medical for Mac

Total Voice Technologies is now offering Dragon® Dictate Medical for Mac to clinicians who want to speech-enable their EHR or upgrade from MacSpeech Dictate Medical 1.5. The availability of free training and technical assistance makes it easy for physicians to realize a quicker return on investment and a more efficient workflow.

Dragon Dictate Medical for Mac allows physicians to spend less time completing patient notes by utilizing a unique speech recognition engine to convert voice to text three times faster than typing and with up to 99 percent accuracy. Similar to Dragon Medical Practice Edition 2, the Mac-based version includes over 90 specialty and subspecialty medical vocabularies, customizable macros and regional accent support.

Clinicians who are loyal to the Mac platform can now create more comprehensive and accurate patient records that result in more effective coding, quicker attainment of meaningful use criteria and subsequently higher reimbursement levels.
