Tosho's Satisfaction With Health Robotics Steers the Japanese Pharmacy Automation Leader to Renew and to Expand its I.V. Automation Strategic Partnership
Date:9/13/2009

BOZEN, Sud-Tyrol, Italy, September 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Robotics today announced that after a successful first year of cooperation in Japan with Tosho Inc., the companies signed this week a contract renewal of the CytoCare(TM) and i.v.STATION(TM) exclusive distribution agreements, and an expansion of their strategic relationship to include future joint-development projects in their respective areas of Pharmacy Automation expertise.

"TOSHO is a model partner for Health Robotics to seek additional partners in other regions of the world, as we continue to expand our global presence: highly-competent and experienced senior executives, large pharmacy automation footprint, company stability, world-class engineering support, and complementary oral medication automation technologies. I feel very lucky to have found not only a great company to partner with, but also such honest and competent executives as well. This is turning to be an excellent summer for Health Robotics in every continent of the world; as our customers demanded, we have now replaced [or are about to replace] incompetent and/or overselling local companies with competent, serious, and world-class organizations such as TOSHO, stated Werner Rainer, Health Robotics' CEO.

"It is indeed with great pleasure that we can announce this week both the renewal of the CytoCare and i.v.STATION exclusive distribution agreements for the next five years, and the expansion of our strategic partnership with Health Robotics to include future joint development projects such as for instance Radiopharmaceuticals. In a conservative market like Japan and within a well established company such as Tosho that greatly depends on excellent customer satisfaction at over 18,000 customers, it was very important to have a one-year period where we came to learn not only Health Robotics' revolutionary technology and its potential applications in Japan, but no less importantly to get to know Health Robotics' senior executives. We have been very positively impressed by the true partnership qualities exhibited by Werner Rainer and Gaspar DeViedma and equally overwhelmed by Health Robotics' creativity and speed of development. We look forward to an enhanced cooperation with Health Robotics in years to come," stated Yoshihito Omura, General Manager, Tosho Inc.

Over the next three to four weeks, we will continue to share the additional steps that Health Robotics has and will undertake in South East Asia, Oceania, China, and Latin America, where we expect that no later than the end of September, the company's global expansion will be culminated. Coupled with this expansion, we expect a gigantic leap in the quality of companies and individuals charted with local support for our Robots all over the world, including the restitution of service to some of our CytoCare American customers that have been affected by poor local customer support and have recently terminated their contracts with our former distributors. These American incidents are an isolated case in a sea of worldwide success for our products and services, and solely attributable to certain individuals and companies, which are no longer associated with the distribution, service, and local support for Health Robotics' CytoCare.
