Dr. Robert Williamson of Raleigh Comprehensive and Cosmetic Dentistry is now a preferred provider of the Invisalign system.

Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) February 16, 2010 -- With his years of experience in working with Invisalign in Raleigh Dr. Robert Williamson of Raleigh Comprehensive and Cosmetic Dentistry was bestowed the Preferred Provider designation by Invisalign.

Preferred Providers have achieved a level of clinical training and experience and consistently treat a higher number of cases, and thereby have a broader level of experience and knowledge treating patients with Invisalign.

"Invisalign is a great alternative to traditional metal braces in Raleigh. The Invisalign system consists of a series of aligners that are custom fit to each patient. The aligners are switched out approximately every two weeks. The time period for Invisalign ranges from patient to patient, depending on the amount of alignment required. Invisalign is a unique alternative to braces in that the system is virtually invisible and removable. The clear aligners slip over teeth and can easily be removed to eat, drink, brush, or floss and for special occasions.
