Tomball Regional Medical Center Selects Clinical Xpert(TM) from Thomson Reuters to Lead Quality Improvement Initiatives

Tomball will combine clinical solutions from Thomson Reuters to develop a closed-loop quality improvement process. The medical center also uses CareDiscovery(TM), a benchmarking solution from Thomson Reuters, to analyze clinical performance and make comparisons with peer-group and national benchmarks.

"Using CareFocus and CareDiscovery together gives us a powerful, end-to-end quality improvement solution that not only enables our clinicians to take direct and immediate action to treat at-risk patients but also allows us to monitor and measure our progress on an ongoing basis," said Bonnie Brown, Tomball's director of quality improvement.
