Tom Lescault, President of SCAN Health Plan Arizona, Appointed to Parkinson Network of Arizona Board of Directors

PHOENIX, June 1 /PRNewswire/ --- Tom Lescault, president of SCAN Health Plan Arizona and president of the Arizona Association of Health Plans, was recently appointed to the Parkinson Network of Arizona board of directors. The mission of the Parkinson Network is to improve the lives of those with Parkinson's disease by supporting the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center through fundraising events and creating awareness of the center.

Jack Goldwater, president of the Parkinson Network board of directors, said that he was very pleased with Lescault's appointment. "Tom is a respected healthcare leader, especially in the area of chronic diseases," he said. "His knowledge and experience will strengthen the board and help in achieving our goals."

Lescault is enthusiastic about the board appointment. "This is a great organization with an important mission," said Lescault. "SCAN Health Plan, a not-for-profit Medicare Advantage Plan, has a social responsibility to give back to the community it serves; and I am glad to contribute to this worthwhile cause."
