Time Domain Adds Eleven Partners to its Channel Reseller Network of PLUS(TM) Ultra Wideband Solutions Providers
Date:1/28/2008

nd software application providers deliver high performance precision location solutions based on Time Domain's PLUS platform of ultra wideband active tags, readers, ceiling-tile antennas, synchronization distribution panels and software. Using PLUS, value added resellers are creating real-time UWB solutions for a wide range of applications, including healthcare, manufacturing and retail, that monitor the interaction of people and assets as close as 12-inches, through multiple walls.

First customer deployments of PLUS include, Washington Hospital Center, a not-for-profit 926-bed acute care teaching and research hospital based in Washington, D.C. The PLUS system, sold and integrated by Parco Wireless as part of their Precis System, is providing a comprehensive equipment location and monitoring system in the hospital's emergency department. Nesconset Nursing Center, a 240-bed facility based in Nesconset, NY, is using PLUS to locate patients, staff and equipment within the special care facility for Alzheimer's patients and other related disorders. The system is being integrated by Sysgen Data Ltd. using Precis middleware. Additional beta applications of PLUS include precision monitoring of manufacturing work in process, retail customer behavior and high-value assets.

"By developing a network of expert providers we're addressing the increasing demand for our UWB technology in a number of markets which need greater precision and efficiency in managing assets," said Greg Clawson, vice president of sales and marketing at Time Domain.

Value added resellers can learn more about Time Domain's channel program and how to capitalize on the growing market for UWB precision RTLS, by joining the company's Webinar on Friday, February 1. Register for this event at https://timedomainec.webex.com/timedomainec/onstage/g.php?t=a&d=664319795.
