BioSpace and MassBio promote Massachusetts companies through annual marketing campaign

Englewood, CO (Vocus) December 16, 2009 -- BioSpace unveiled the 2010 Genetown™ Hotbed Campaign as its largest yearly promotion for the life sciences.

Genetown is sponsored by MassBio and showcases 37 Massachusetts companies across biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. The campaign places each entity’s brand on an electronic and printed map that is promoted at events, career fairs and on BioSpace.com. These pieces are also supported by online company profiles and regional marketing materials.

"We have nine Hotbed campaigns a year, and they each represent a one-of-a-kind opportunity for industry businesses to showcase their brand, location and geographic significance,” said Kevin Glacken, senior vice president of sales at onTargetjobs, the parent company of BioSpace.com. "The 11th edition of the Genetown Hotbed Campaign highlights continual life science growth within Massachusetts communities.”
