ThreeTwelve Creative’s HelpBase Software Powers New Social Services Directory Launch

Everyone needs a little help from time to time – but not everyone knows where to go to find that help when they need it. Bringing together social service providers and those in need is the concept behind Southwest Florida Resource Link, a new social services directory brought to caseworkers and the public by the Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida and powered by HelpBase software from ThreeTwelve Creative.

Southwest Florida Resource Link, which can be found at http://www.swflresourcelink.com, comprises a directory of nearly one thousand service provider resources available to residents in need in Southwest Florida’s Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Lee and Sarasota counties. No registration is required to use the site – making it useful not only to case managers, social workers, and others interested in directing people to services, but also to members of the general public who utilize the site to search for their own specific needs.

According to ThreeTwelve Creative CEO David Dewhirst, the software powering the site is designed so that users, whether social workers or members of the public, can easily find the services they’re looking for. “The search functionality across the directory is very robust and powerful,” said Dewhirst. “Users can search for services by name, but also by category and type of service they need, as well as by tags. Results are filterable, so people can quickly drill down and get to exactly the information they’re looking for. And we’ve wrapped the whole thing up in a
