Date:6/19/2009

Highly regarded plaintiffs' attorneys among just five percent of lawyers in state to be recognized with prestigious professional designation

Philadelphia, PA (Lexis Nexis) June 19, 2009 -- Galfand Berger, a Philadelphia-based law firm that has been practicing personal injury law for more than six decades, today announced that three of its attorneys have been named by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers magazine as among the top attorneys in the state of Pennsylvania for 2009.

The three honored attorneys from the firm are:

Only five percent of the lawyers in the state are named by Super Lawyers. The selections for Super Lawyers are made by Law & Politics, a division of Key Professional Media, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minn. Each year, Law & Politics undertakes a rigorous multi-phase selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by Law & Politics' attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area, and a good-standing and disciplinary check.

Galfand Berger has been championing the rights of injured workers, consumers and individuals since 1947. Harry Galfand and Albert Gerber founded the firm more than 60 years ago with one goal: to secure full and just compensation for people who have suffered injustices and injuries. Galfand Berger remains true to that dedicated mission today.
