Thoratec Reports 34 Percent Increase in 2008 Revenues

for the three months and fiscal year ended January 3, 2009 and the company's total diluted share count on a non-GAAP basis for the three months and fiscal year ended December 29, 2007 include approximately 7.3 million shares underlying its convertible notes as they were dilutive for the respective quarter and year to date periods.
