Thomas Eye Group Continues Growth in Metro Atlanta Area With Two Clinic Expansions
Date:3/8/2013

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 08, 2013

Thomas Eye Group, a leading metro Atlanta eye care provider and six year winner of the Consumers' Choice Award just announced a $9 million expansion that will significantly increase its Atlanta foot print.

Thomas Eye Group is a leading metro Atlanta eye care provider that offers comprehensive services including LASIK and medical, surgical and cosmetic eye care.

With nine locations in the metro area serving patients ranging from infants to seniors, the expansion will allow Thomas Eye Group the ability to better serve the fast-growing region and its growing patient base. The new space will integrate the latest technologies in comfortable and convenient environments.

The current St. Joseph Clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center will be relocated to a newly purchased building at the corner of Barfield Road and Hammond Drive. The project scope will include a renovation of the exterior, the addition of a drop-off canopy and a complete build-out of the interior. Working with project partners Denver-based Marasco & Associates and Atlanta-based Wakefield Beasley Associates, construction is scheduled to begin next month and completed by November 2013. The clinic expects more than 50,000 patients annually.

In addition to the Atlanta office relocation, the existing Roswell Clinic will add nearly 3,000 square feet of space with a complete renovation of the interior allowing for a third eye care provider. The project is underway and is scheduled to be complete by June 2013. More than 25,000 patients are expected at this location in the coming year.
