Date:4/8/2010

mon pursuit in promoting the quality of wildlife management programs will have great impact on preserving the heritage of hunting and fishing for future generations, as well as preserving the beauty of nature for all to enjoy.”

The Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife organization, now 15,000 members strong, was founded by Peay in 1994. "SFW is the kind of thing I wanted to lend my name and resources to when it first started, and everything has grown since then," Malone said. "SFW is getting things done for wildlife and hunters that others can only dream of."

Mower was featured as the keynote speaker at the Ladies Black and White Brunch at the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo. Mower donated $85,000 in behalf of this event, which included a cash contribution, lavish gift baskets with SISEL nutritional and skin-care products for door prizes, along with gifts for each of the luncheon guests. All attendees received a gift box containing an assortment of deluxe SISEL personal care products, valued at nearly $400 per set.

In partnership with SISEL, Mower has established the Earth Stewardship Foundation, a nonprofit charity dedicated to supporting a variety of causes, including supporting improvements for wildlife and their habitat, providing safe havens for endangered wildlife, and protecting fragile environments in nature. In addition, the Earth Stewardship Foundation also provides assistance to programs devoted to improving the quality of childcare for vulnerable children in orphanages throughout the world. Mower was recently honored by Whole Child International, along with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, at events held in Los Angeles in February. Mower received the first ever Whole Child International’s Champion Award for his generous contributions which have been central to the growth of Whole Child International.
