The Village Announces New Administrator

Rick Heath to Take Over Day-to-Day Operations and Spearhead Expansion

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- North Florida Retirement Village, Inc., "The Village," announced today that Rick Heath has been named as its new Administrator. Heath's position will take effect immediately. A seasoned senior living executive, Heath is coming on board in the midst of a major expansion of the 104-acre campus in Gainesville.

The Village is Gainesville's premier rental senior living community, which currently serves over 450 seniors residing in independent living apartments and cottages and assisted living, congregate care and memory support units. The Village expansion includes an additional 170 rental independent living apartments, 60 state-of-the-art assisted living apartments, expanded common areas and administrative offices, including dining and fitness, a new marketing office and maintenance building.

Heath brings 35 years of senior living experience to The Village, most recently serving as Vice President for New Business Development for Sears Methodist Retirement System in Abilene, Texas. Previously, he spent six years as a Regional Director for Greystone Communities and 15 years as President and CEO of Gulf Coast Retirement Community in Cape Coral, Florida.
