The Foundation has hosted more than 20,000 events, including debates and town halls where people have come together to discuss issues such as nuclear disarmament, the Millennium Development Goals, and climate change. Most recently, in more than a dozen cities, the Foundation has hosted educational "boot camps" where young children can learn about malaria and ways that they can make a difference in the lives of women and children in Africa.

The UN Foundation is proud to partner with the White House and the Corporation for National and Community Service on United We Serve. The Foundation encourages everyone to join the First Family, Ambassador Rice and the UN Foundation in this important initiative to mobilize millions to make change in their local community and their world.
