specialized in nearly all areas of pediatrics and pediatric surgery. The University Children's Hospital Zurich has a strong reputation at home and abroad, both as an outstanding clinic and as an acknowledged centre of expertise in selected areas of highly specialized pediatrics.

As a university hospital, it also conducts teaching and research. Medical students and junior doctors at all levels are trained as pediatricians or pediatric surgeons. Fundamental research and clinical knowledge is driven forward in specific areas and selected research teams. Scientific and ethical standards meet the highest international norms.
