to the Management of Health Records
CAMBRIDGE, England and BELFAST, Northern Ireland, February 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Meridio, an Autonomy company (LSE: AU.)(LSE: AU.L) and a leading provider of Records Management software, today announced that the Phytosanitary Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (PARS) has selected Meridio's records management solution to effectively manage its growing volume of physical and electronic documents and records, allowing the country to better comply with the World Trade Organization's initiative to improve food safety, animal and plant health.
The Phytosanitary Administration is part of the Republic of Slovenia's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food (MAFF) and is also the central authority for phytosanitary matters in the country. The Administration implements regulations that control many aspects of food safety, ranging from plant health, protection of plant varieties, conservation of plant genetic resources to the quality control of fertilizers.
As the Administration represents the Republic of Slovenia in international organizations and EU working bodies, it is responsible for matters relating to the operation of public services and the authorized institutions in the phytosanitary field, as well as their control. As a result, PARS compiles and manages a large volume of reports, analysis, information and other documents relating to the phytosanitary field of work. To better manage and store this growing volume of documents and records, PARS selected Autonomy Meridio to provide a highly secure, flexible and scalable records management solution that allows users to access and share authorized documents from multiple locations.
