The ROHO Institute Announces Expansion of Continuing Education Programs

The ROHO Institute for Continuing Education and Research is extending its reach to provide expanded resources, seminars, presentations and E-learning opportunities in 2010.

Belleville, IL (PRWEB) February 25, 2010 -- The ROHO Institute, an organization founded to educate individuals on skin integrity, seating and positioning, as well as wheelchair cushion and medical cushion products, is proud to announce the growth of their continuing education and training programs. As a part of The ROHO Group, developers of medical products such as the ROHO cushion, The ROHO Institute was established to enhance the lives of ROHO users through educational resources. Unique to the industry, The ROHO Institute provides a variety of educational formats including 3-day seminars, 1-day seminars, hour-long educational sessions and E-learning opportunities for both prescribers and providers.

One facet of the educational programs offered includes 3-day seminars presented by The ROHO Institute, Permobil, USRehab and VGM Education covering the management of pressure ulcers, seating and positioning assessments, and functional mobility. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are provided for each seminar. Upcoming 3-day seminars will be held in Charlotte, NC, Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA and Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. Half day and additional CEU programs presented by the ROHO Institute will also be taking place around the country. Reno, NV, Sacramento, CA, Las Vegas, NV, Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA and Morgantown, WV are a few of the cities already scheduled to host ROHO continuing education programs.

For those interested in online education, The ROHO Institute is also offering expanded E-learning CEU programs including courses on billing and reimbursement, clinical rehab, infection control, ostomy and wound care, product education, and seating and positioning.

Extending their reach internationally, The ROHO Institute will also be attending several international trade shows and conference presentations including: Reatech in Sao Paulo, Brazil, The 4th International Interdisciplinary Conference on Posture and Wheeled Mobility in Glasgow, UK, and the 8th National Australian Wound Management Association Conference in Perth, Australia where The ROHO Group's Senior Director of Training and Education, Darren Hammond will be presenting.
