The Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition Announces Last Chance to Enter 'Makeover for Mom' Contest
Date:3/5/2008

EPHRATA, Pa., March 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Every woman could use a little pampering now and then. Think your mom deserves a special weekend to celebrate her survivorship? Let the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC) and Doneckers of Ephrata take care of everything!

All you have to do is tell us in 250 words or less why your mom, as a breast cancer survivor, is an inspiration to her friends, family or community, and you and your mom could be in for a real treat! Salon Art Tiff, located on the Doneckers Complex, is offering a free makeover grand prize for one lucky winner, and the person who nominates her, in May 2008. The winners must be able to travel to Ephrata in Lancaster County to receive the prize. Simply email your nomination by March 31st to heather@pabreastcancer.org.

The top five applicants will be announced in early April and must be able to attend the "Pretty In Pink" fashion show and luncheon on Sunday, May 4. The weekend, however, kicks off on Saturday, May 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm with a special "Think Pink" cocktail party to benefit the PBCC, complete with informal modeling, specialty drinks, and raffle prizes. Doneckers will be donating a portion of the weekend's sales back to the PBCC. Donations will also be accepted.

Then on Sunday, May 4 at 1:00 pm, treat yourself to a special luncheon and fashion show at Doneckers Restaurant. All proceeds benefit the PBCC. Watch as the winner of our "Makeover for Mom" contest is announced, all while enjoying fashions and food from Doneckers and special raffle prizes. Tickets for this fundraiser are $45 each or $70 for two and are available by calling 717-738-9500.

The PA Breast Cancer Coalition represents, supports and serves breast cancer survivors and their families in Pennsylvania through educational programming, legislative advocacy and unique outreach initiatives. The PBCC is a statewide non-profit organization that creates the hope of a brighter tomorrow
