The Otter Way Launches as Children Head Back to School
Date:9/3/2013

Coral Springs, FL (PRWEB) September 03, 2013

After years in the making, The Otter Way to Grow Up Happy & Healthy just launched to parents everywhere. The series combines six children’s books with the unique Teach2 System to help parents teach their small children basic health and grooming habits in a fun and effective way. It launches just as parents are helping their children transition into the new school year, and for many parents, their little ones’ first school year.

The six books are based on the adventures of a brother-and-sister duo of otters, Crispin and Cristi, as they explore the world around them while learning the habits that are essential to healthy development. The series covers the range of basic health and hygiene habits that prepare children for a school setting, such as potty training and making friends at school.

The parenting component, the Teach2 System, is based on input from experts and parents combining fun, repetition, rewards, and parental involvement to teach children in the way they learn best. As part of this system, the boxed set includes two progress charts and two certificates of achievement to track and reward children's progress in mastering the habits.

“My stubborn three-year-old loves when we read the books, and this enthusiasm really makes the learning process flow much more naturally,” says Kelly Karcher, a mother of three who uses The Otter Way to Grow Up Happy & Healthy with her daughter. “Getting and maintaining her attention can be one of the biggest obstacles to learning and The Otter Way does just that.”

The series is available as both a boxed set of board books and a Kindle eBook at http://theotterway.com. The website also includes goodies for children that complement the books, such as toys, games and coloring pages.
