The Olive Oil Source Announces New Bottle Options for Private Label Shiners
Date:2/26/2013

SANTA YNEZ, CA (PRWEB) February 26, 2013

The Olive Oil Source, the industry leader in olive oil-related products, announces two new glass bottle options for wholesale customers looking for immediate availability of additional size and color configurations for private label shiner products. The new bottle size options, available on their Wholesale website lets olive oil producers, specialty food retailers and tasting bar owners add the protective advantage of dark green glass in 250ml and 500ml sizes to their product lines. The two new products are the latest line additions to a full array of 18 different bottle configurations available to wholesale customers.

The newly featured products include:

  •     250ml Quadra Antique Green Bar Top
This antique green square 250ml (8.5 fl. oz.) bottle is finished with a bar top cork. The bottle stands 8-1/4" tall (without closure) and measures 1-13/16" square. Bar top corks are included in the price. Heat shrink capsules designed to complement the finished bottle are available in different colors.
  •     500ml Quadra Antique Green Screw Top
This antique green square 500ml (16.9 fl. oz.) bottle is finished with a convenient screw top cap. The bottle stands 10-1/2" tall (without closure) and measures 2-1/4" square. Screw top caps are included in the price. Heat shrink capsules designed to complement the finished bottles are available in different colors.

“The Olive Oil Source now offers two more protective, dark-glass configurations to our full range of bottle options for wholesale customers concerned about maintaining olive oil quality on their retail store shelves and in customers’ kitchens,” said Shawn Addison, President, The Olive Oil Source. “The low-light emitting feature of dark glass protects olive oil from the deteriorating damages of light.”

The full line of bottles from The Olive Oil Source Wholesale Store can be found at http://wholesale.oliveoilsource.com/browse/containers-and-accessories/69?items_per_page=1000.

Full Service Option To The Wholesale Private Label Program

The latest bottle options are available to be custom configured by The Olive Oil Source to meet any private label or wholesale shiner needs. Similar bottle options in clear and dark glass are represented in the company’s simplified wholesale private label online shiner program, designed to provide specialty food retailers and marketers with immediate availability of a full range of oils and vinegars and rapid turn-around production.

At the foundation of the program is the ability to create custom “shiners”, or unbranded bottles of olive oil or vinegar through a simplified online process. Similar to the wine industry’s approach to bottling wine for later rebranding, the new program includes more than 110 olive oils and vinegars to choose from. A wide variety of bottle styles and sizes provide complete flexibility to the customer. Online pricing and ordering make this an industry exclusive, bypassing the typical “call us for more information” sites that hint at the service without providing detailed information upfront.

Another significant advantage of the program is its low minimum case requirements, allowing customers to conduct their own in-store tests with flavor and sizing options. The program presents a perfect opportunity for olive oil tasting bar entrepreneurs and specialty food store owners to fine-tune their own product offerings to fill in the product line gaps or present a cost-effective self-branded option to their customers.
