The Memorial Garden at Cherry Hills Community Church Announces Wall of Remembrance as Another Option to Remember Loved Ones
Date:7/26/2013

Highlands Ranch, Colorado (PRWEB) July 26, 2013

According to the Cremation Association of North America, cremation statistics show that in 2005, 32% of deaths in the United States and 56% of deaths in Colorado were cremated. Projections show that by 2015, 44% of deaths in the US and over 72% of deaths in Colorado will be cremated. Because of these staggering statistics, The Memorial Garden has created the Wall of Remembrance.

The Wall of Remembrance is specifically designed to help remember loved ones who are inurned (cremated) or buried in another place. Cherry Hills Community Church has realized that loved ones may be interred or inurned in another area, and has welcomed families to remember them at The Wall of Remembrance.

Cherry Hills Community Church created the Memorial Garden because throughout Christian history, people were most commonly buried or cremated on church grounds. The Memorial Garden enables families in the community who want to have their loved ones remembered close to their church and home.

Chapel hosts most of the funerals at Cherry Hills, and currently, many of the services are for individuals and families that have chosen cremation.

The Memorial Garden also features a niche and a common urn as other options for those who want to memorialize their loved ones. The granite-faced niche available has space for two sets of cremated remains. The Common Urn is another option that is available for those who do not purchase a niche.

About Cherry Hills Community Church

Cherry Hills Community Church is dedicated to serving the members of their congregation at every stage of life. The Memorial Garden at Cherry Hills serves our church family and the surrounding Denver community at the end of their lives by accepting cremated remains in niches (columbarium) or a communal urn.
