The Mason Pasquin Agency and the Avalon Center Announce Joint Charity Drive to Fight Domestic Violence in Eastern Virginia
Date:2/17/2017

The Mason Pasquin Agency, a Virginia-based firm offering asset protection services and financial planning assistance to families and business owners in and around the Hampton Roads metropolitan region, is joining the local nonprofit Avalon Center for a charity drive to help prevent all forms of domestic violence.

There are multiple categories of domestic violence – physical abuse is only one form of recognized abuse. Other forms of domestic violence include emotional, sexual, psychological, and financial abuse. The Avalon Center works to assist abuse survivors in the Williamsburg area, and provides a broad range of services intended to address and prevent episodes of domestic violence.

“Our mission is to end domestic violence and abuse in our community, and we’re working with the Avalon Center to help stop all forms of abuse in our region,” says Julie Pasquin, owner and executive director of the Mason Pasquin Agency.

Joined by her professional team, Pasquin is working to promote the Avalon Center charity event and gather support from nearby communities by reaching out to local civic leaders and families over social media and email. Additional publicity for the event is planned from the release of a full length feature article slated for release in the next edition of “Our Hometown,” a monthly online circular published by the Mason Pasquin Agency: http://masonpasquinagency.com/magazines/.

The Avalon Center charity event is only the first of many planned by the Mason Pasquin Agency over the months to come. As new members of the nationwide “Agents of Change” charity support initiative, Pasquin and her team have committed to assisting a new charitable cause in eastern Virginia every other month.

Readers that want to join the Mason Pasquin Agency during the ongoing Avalon Center charity drive are encouraged to visit the following page and help bring an end to domestic violence in the region: http://masonpasquinagency.com/causes/1654/. More information on future charity events sponsored by the Mason Pasquin Agency will be made available on the firm’s Community Causes listing: http://masonpasquinagency.com/community/.
