On December 21, Lorna Kleidman, kettlebells fitness instructor and creator of the popular KettleX program, wants to start your New Year off with a fitness resolution to stay healthy and fit. Kleidman, in addition to tips from an article published by She Knows, offers weight loss tips.
Your diet is the most important asset to your weight loss strategy. According to an article She Knows, “Adding more fresh produce to your grocery list is a sure-fire way to look and feel better. The fewer processed foods you eat and the less frequently you grab food on the go, the more opportunity you’ll have to load up on fresh, healthy fruit and vegetables.”
Nothing refreshes you like a tall glass of water. In most carbonated drinks there are hundreds of calories and tons of grams of sugar. Ditch the soda and sugary drinks and grab a filtered bottle of water to begin losing weight.
Exercise a Few Times Each Week:
Kleidman is a kettlebell champion and to help lose holiday weight kettlebells are a guaranteed practice to shed pounds. “By using kettlebells for just twenty minutes a day for three days a week you will see a change in your body’s physique,” comments Kleidman. “If you can do more, do it. Start off slowly so that you don’t get discouraged and move up gradually. Looking good for the summer should not be a race!”
There is nothing like fresh air to get your body going for the New Year. According to She Knows, “Fresh air is great for your mood and your health, no matter the season. Invest in the right gear to keep you warm and dry, and get outside!” Kleidman offers additional advice by stating, “While there are numerous outdoor activities, even just walking works to help aid your diet and lead you toward your weight loss goals.”
Lorna Kleidman is a Three-Time World Champion and World Record holder in kettlebell sport and the most decorated kettlebell athlete in the country. She developed the innovated methods used in KettleX as a way to bring the benefits of the bells to everyone in an easy to use, comprehensive and fun format. Lorna has been teaching individuals and group classes for the past six years.
