The Khanna Institute of Lasik Surgery Offers Better Vision for the Chinese New Year
Date:1/13/2009

In honor of Chinese New Year, the Khanna Institute of Lasik and Refractive Surgery is offering a discount to the entire Chinese-American population.

Valencia, CA (Vocus) January 13, 2009 -- In honor of Chinese New Year, the Khanna Institute of Lasik and Refractive Surgery is offering a discount to the entire Chinese-American population. They will be offering 50% off any Lasik or Refractive procedure done within the dates of January 26, 2009- February 9, 2009; the duration of the Chinese New Year.

This January 26, 2009 marks the beginning of the year 4707 on the Chinese calendar; the Year of the Ox. Legend has it that when the thirteen different animals were chosen for the different years, a race was held to decide in which order the animals would be named. The Ox was worried about racing because he had poor eye-sight, however, he ended up coming in second place. Because 2009 is the year of the Ox, the Khanna Institute of Lasik Surgery is celebrating by offering 50% off to all Chinese-Americans.

Many people have trusted their eyes to the Khanna Institute of Lasik Surgery and are very happy with their results. Jean Yang, who is 62 years old, is a regular at the mahjong. She had trouble seeing through her bifocals and wanted an alternative to wearing glasses all day. Her bad eye-sight was making it difficult to play well. She went in to see Dr. Khanna about her problem and he implanted Restor Aspheric Multifocal Implants. This was a painless, 10 minute procedure. Now with her new unaided vision of 20/20 for distance and 20/20 for near she feels 20 years younger and is able to play mahjong with great results. So this Chinese New year day, the Khanna Institute of LASIK is making better vision affordable and attainable to all.
