The Holistic Sanctuary Conducts Emergency Poll in the Aftermath of the Death of Cory Monteith: Measuring the Effectiveness of Conventional Drug Rehab Centers
Date:7/29/2013

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 29, 2013

With the death of Cory Monteith*, who played the role of Finn Hudson on the Fox television series Glee, The Holistic Sanctuary has conducted an emergency poll of 1,000 past and current patients who have sought treatment from a conventional drug rehab center. The numbers come in the wake of Cory’s demise from “mixed drug toxicity” consisting of heroin and alcohol, two months after having left a rehab facility. •     75% suffered severe side effects (liver toxicity, nausea, vomiting, heightened anxiety and depression) from prescription medications for the treatment of opiate addiction.
  •     Among those who relapsed, 81% returned to a drug rehab center for at least two more rounds of the same treatment.
  •     The median amount of money spent, by these patients, for conventional drug rehab is $37,891.
  •     78% say the accommodations at these centers were either physically uncomfortable or not accurate depictions of the accommodations, as described online or in other promotional materials.
  •     88% of patients who sought treatment for heroin addiction were now on large doses of
